Have you got friends or family that have asked you about forest school? Or have you been thinking about coming along for a while, but want to know more about what it's all about?  

Join our experienced practitioners for a free drop in taster forest school at St Ives on Saturday 8th of June.  There will be a variety of forest school activities on offer, from rope swings and nature crafts to slacklines and marshmallow toasting.   

Over the Easter break, we were invited to run activities at Cliffe Castle in partnership with the National Literacy Trust in Bradford as part of their tales and trails project.  It is safe to say it was a roaring success, with plenty of books given away, and an estimated over 600 people coming to say hello.

After six years, our work with the Better Start Bradford programme has come to a close.  It has been an incredible six years where we have worked with 61 nurseries and delivered 540 family sessions, where we had 5700 attendances.  We also trained 90 parents and early years workers to forest school level 1, who will be able to continue delivering outdoor provision for their communities.

All of the team, past and present, who have worked on the Better Start Programme would like to thank every parent, child and nursery worker that attended over the six years, you are the ones that made the programme so special.

Fear not however, our family play sessions will be continuing through the Summer months, in partnership with Better Place, you can see our dates through the button below.

The All for Play programme continues to impress with the return of it's Saturday sessions at St Mary's with back to back sell out sessions. It's always a blast with the All for Play team, and we've got plans to come back to Park Wood in the near future, so keep your eyes peeled!

We will also be announcing our HAF programme for those who are eligible, highlights include trips to High Adventure, Studley Royal and Morecambe, more on that soon!

Those with eagle eyes on our social media may have seen a 'story' in a different building...We have been busy organisation furniture and packing our old office away in anticipation to a new premises!  We are keeping the location under wraps for now but all will be revealed soon.
