There's been an incredible reaction to our Holiday Forest School programme this year, with all but one date being a total sell out! We can't wait for another summer in the woods and Sam, Annie, Sue and our wonderful pool of freelancers are buzzing with excitement at the prospect of more rope swings, nature crafts, woodland games and loads more!

We are into our first Summer delivering the Gateway to Nature project and so far its been an absolute blast!

Our Mini Explorers have been busy getting messy and connecting with nature outside our new office at Cliffe Castle in Keighley. Alongside this, it's be a pleasure working with a number of different groups from the Highfield Centre doing all things bushcraft, environmental work and forest school!

We are delighted to announce that managing director Annie Berrington has been awarded a Churchill Fellowship, and as a result will be venturing to Norway next year to research how the Scandinavian care system overcomes barriers to enabling nature connection for older people living with dementia. It's been another bumper summer so far with the All for Play team, with Saturdays at St Mary's proving to be as popular as ever. There is just one more Saturday until the Summer kicks off, where we will be delivering the HAF programme, with trips and forest schools still available to book!

If your child is on benefit related free school meals, they can access FREE summer holiday provision, with trips and hot food. We are unable to take children who are not eligible on this programme, however, so if you are unsure, get in touch.

Our marketing and projects assistant, Ryan, spent the day out at East Riddlesden Hall with a group from West Yorkshire Combined Authority (WYCA). We chipped away at jobs on the site of their proposed community garden space by laying a path from the top of the site to the bottom.

We had great feedback from the WYCA team and it was fantastic to see staff connecting outside of a work environment. We can cater for a wide range of staff away days, get in touch with us below to see how we can work with your team!

With the Forest School Play Project done and dusted now, we turned our attention to celebrating the impact it had on nurseries, families and our staff! Participants and stakeholders gathered at Bowling Park for an afternoon of forest school, stories from the last six years and premiered the Forest School Play Project celebration movie, you can read more and watch it below!
